Aquatic Veterinary Biosecurity Program
This Program is open to veterinarians, paraveterinary professionals & aquaculture producers.

The full biosecurity program consists of two full days.
Day 1 participation involves didactive, interactive lectures and table-top exercises for developing, implementing, auditing and certifying biosecurity programs in any aquaculture operation.
Day 2* involves an on-farm workshop for participants to evaluate a working, fully integrated trout operation in the Eastern Cape, and a wet lab for performing clinical evaluation, necropsy and diagnostic sampling of fish.
* Participation is limited to 80 registered participants on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Friday October 14, 2011 (Three Streams Trout Farm, Franschhoek - transportation to/from the Convention Centre and lunch provided)

Please Note:
- Full Congress registration (Oct 11-13) includes access to the Thursday Biosecurity Session; However, participation in the On-farm Biosecurity Workshop (Friday) requires separate registration (ZAR 1,500 ~US$ 200)
- If NOT registered for the full Congress, participating in the Practical Biosecurity Session & On-farm Workshop requires registration for both the Thurs & Fri (13-14 Oct) Program (ZAR 2,500/~US $350).
- Participation is limited to 80 registered participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Early registration is recommended. Register before August 31, 2011 to avoid late and on-site increased registration cost
Participation in the Aquatic Veterinary Biosecurity Session & On-Farm Workshop is Limited to the first 80 Registrations.
Registration costs increase substantially after August 31, 2011.
